IDream31 Adopt-A-Student Program

Seventy (70) students of La Paz National High School are the newest beneficiaries of the iDream31 Adopt-A-Student Program, an initiative solely sponsored by Mrs. Karel P. Barrios-Hajek, a proud alumna and former teacher of the school.

Each student was allotted ₱500.00 financial assistance, which was personally received by their parents during the distribution. The cash aid is intended to help ease the cost of school contributions such as HPTA and SPTA projects, journalism fees, development fees, and other related expenses.

In addition to the assistance, iDream31 also prepared and shared snacks for the parents, turning the event into a simple yet heartwarming gathering of gratitude and community spirit.

Mrs. Barrios-Hajek, who continues to champion education even from afar, expressed that the program is more than just about the amount. “This is a reminder that every student has someone who believes in their potential and every parent has a partner in their children’s journey,” she said.

Parents and guardians warmly welcomed the support, grateful for both the financial aid and the thoughtful gesture of fellowship. They noted how every bit of help matters, especially in the context of raising and educating children in today’s challenging times.

The iDream31 Adopt-A-Student Program reflects how one individual’s vision can inspire collective hope. By easing small burdens, it uplifts both parents and students—reminding them that education, encouragement, and community go hand in hand.
