𝐄𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐥-𝐀𝐝𝐡𝐚: 𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲

On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Muslims in the Philippines will celebrate Eid al-Adha, which is also called the "Festival of Sacrifice." This important holiday honors the story of Prophet Ibrahim’s (Abraham) deep faith and marks the end of the yearly Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. To celebrate, families will gather early in the morning for special prayers, wear their best clothes, and enjoy big meals together. A main tradition of the day is sacrificing livestock and splitting the meat into three equal parts to share with family, friends, and people in need, showing the importance of kindness and helping others.

May this blessed day bring peace, unity, and kindness to everyone around the world.
