Worried about EDSA’s renovation and the traffic it’ll bring? While that project is all well and good, it is important to understand that there are multiple solutions to improve metro Manila’s lifeline. We’d like to reshare our EDSAya project as part of this solution.

EDSAya:

Commuters in Metro Manila lose a staggering 117 hours a year to traffic — that's almost five full days wasted! On top of that, EDSA is a nightmare for cyclists and pedestrians, lacking safe and inclusive pathways. EDSAya aims to fix this problem. This proposed elevated walkway spanning across the whole stretch of EDSA aims to provide commuters with alternative, sustainable, and safer transportation options, reduce traffic congestion and pollution, and improve overall urban mobility. The walkway has separate bicycle lanes and walkalators that are PWD inclusive, creating a safer and convenient access for pedestrians. The plan also incorporates considerations for accessibility, greenery, and improved crossing points, aiming to enhance the quality of life for those traversing the city's busiest highway.
