GABAY 2026: One College, One Vision: Building Future Business Leaders and Industry Professionals

July 1, 2026 — The College of Business and Management at Aklan Polytechnic College successfully launched GABAY 2026, welcoming students and parents to a new academic year.

The day featured a comprehensive morning orientation for the BS in Customs Administration followed by an insightful afternoon session for the BS in Tourism Management

The BSCA orientation fostered a spirit of camaraderie as Dean Dr. Kiel Patrick I. Relimbo opened the event and presented core values, program objectives, and standards for professional grooming and uniforms.

Mrs. Mercy A. Reontoy, Human Resource Development Officer, discussed the department's Vision, Mission, and Core Values, alongside grading systems and policies on absences and examinations. Essential guidance was provided by Ms. Lyvia Jane Montilla (Medical/Dental), Mr. Joen Magdael (Library Services), and Captain Christian Natal (Student Discipline).

Mr. Ryan Regalado, BSCA Program Head, delivered closing remarks, capping off an event that served as more than just a briefing—it was a space for connection and shared excitement.

CBM MEMORANDUM NO. 6-002, Series of 2026: WEARING OF THE SCHOOL UNIFORM, PROFESSIONAL GROOMING STANDARDS, AND THE OFFICIAL MABUHAY GESTURE

The College of Business and Management reminds all BSTM and BSCA students to strictly observe the prescribed uniform regulations, professional grooming standards, and the Official Mabuhay Gesture, effective June 29, 2026.

Please read the memorandum carefully and refer to the accompanying photos and infographics for the complete guidelines on the proper wearing of the school uniform, personal hygiene, hair and grooming, accessories, footwear, identification card, school bag, professional conduct, sanctions, and the Official Mabuhay Gesture.

Let us wear our uniform with pride and uphold the values of professionalism, discipline, excellence, and service as future tourism and customs professionals.

The Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (BSCA) students gathered for an insightful Seminar on Special Procedures, Import and Export Clearance, Customs Transit, and Transshipment held on January 13, 2026 at the Convention Hall of Aklan Polytechnic College, Kalibo, Aklan.

The seminar featured Mr. CB Raniel Orocay , LCB, as the resource speaker, who shared his professional expertise on the complexities of modern customs operations. This initiative aims to equip our aspiring customs brokers with the practical knowledge necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of international trade and regulatory compliance.
