โThe Fellowship Baptist College Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit capped off its training year with a resounding graduation and turnover ceremony held at the FBC School Gymnasium on Saturday, May 30, 2026. A total of 171 student cadets graduated from the program.

โThe event opened with the arrival of the colors, followed by the formal sequence of ceremonies. Saturday became a day of applause and pride as 170 cadets, together with their unit officers, marched into a new chapter.
โ
โ Several cadets were recognized for their perseverance, skills, and intelligence through distinctive awards including Perfect Attendance, Honor Star, Loyalty Award, and Leadership Award.

โAfter the awarding of certificates, the unit observed one of its most symbolic traditions: the ceremonial turnover of the unit colors. Outgoing Corps Commander ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ก๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐๐, 1๐๐ passed the colors to incoming Corps Commander ๐๐๐ญ 1๐๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ก ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐, 2๐๐ in rites officiated by Unit Commandant ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐.

โCong. Alvarez then delivered the keynote address. She emphasized the weight of responsibility and honor that comes with serving in the reserve force. Her words acknowledged not only the courage of the cadets and cadettes, but also extended her full respect and support for their commitment to nation and community.

โWith the ceremonial turnover complete, the FBC ROTC Unit closes another chapter of discipline, service, and leadership. As the newly installed corps commander takes the helm, the unit looks ahead to another year of training committed to shaping cadets into responsible citizens and future reservists ready to serve the nation and community.

โ More than a closing ceremony, the event was a reminder that discipline, service, and leadership are not worn only on uniformsโthey are lived in choices. As these 171 graduates step forward, they carry with them the values forged in training: duty before self, honor above all.

Fellowship Baptist College-Reserve Officer Training Corps (FBC-ROTC) Unit capped off its training year with a resounding graduation and turnover ceremony held at the FBC Gymnasium yesterday, May 30. A total of 171 student cadets graduated from the program.

Rogaciano V. Arib (Inf) PA, Admin NCO; Capt. Aaron L. Malloraca PA (Res); 1Lt. Odessa L. Fairbanks PA (Res), Assistant Commandant of the CPSU mother unit of FBC ROTC; Michael Gaudia, NSTP Coordinator; and the guest speaker, Congresswoman Mercedes โChedingโ K. Alvarez of the 6th District.

โ605th Community Defense Center, Reserved Command, conducted a Familiarization Firing Exercise and a symposium on Republic Act No. 11313, or the Safe Spaces Act, for Reserve Officersโ Training Corps (ROTC) FBCU cadets and cadettes on 23 May 2026 at the 542 Engineering Battalion Headquarters in Himamaylan City.

โThe activity sought to develop the cadetsโ basic proficiency in weapons handling while reinforcing their understanding of legal and ethical standards governing public conduct and gender-based harassment.
โ
โThe familiarization firing focused on the M16 rifle and was conducted under strict range safety protocols. Cadets and cadettes received instruction on proper handling, safety procedures, and marksmanship fundamentals prior to engaging in supervised live-fire exercises. Tactical and operational non-commissioned officers oversaw all phases of the activity to ensure compliance with established safety standards.

โConcurrent with the marksmanship training, a symposium was held to discuss the provisions and application of Republic Act No. 11313. The session addressed the lawโs role in promoting safe public and educational spaces and outlined the responsibilities expected of future military officers in upholding its mandates.

โFBC ROTC Unit added ceremony and pageantry to this yearโs Honors and Awards Day as it formally presented the colors during the program held on May 22, 2026.

โThe event took place at the Fellowship Baptist College Gymnasium, where students, faculty members, and guests gathered to recognize outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements for the academic year. The presentation of colors by the FBCRU officially opened the ceremony, setting a dignified and formal tone for the dayโs proceedings.

โUnder the instruction of Tactical NCO, Sgt Claire P Palmos PA (Res), the FBCRU color guard executed the ceremonial entry with discipline and precision. Their participation highlighted the collegeโs commitment to fostering leadership, service, and discipline alongside academic excellence.

โHonors and Awards Day remains one of the institutionโs major annual events, bringing together the school community in celebration of student achievement. Fellowship Baptist College ROTC Cadets Conduct Formation and Graduation Practice
Fellowship Baptist College ROTC cadets and cadettes conducted formation and graduation practice on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in preparation for the upcoming commencement ceremony.
The activity began at the FBC Senior High School faรงade with formation drills and morning exercises focused on discipline, alignment, and unit cohesion. The cadets then proceeded to the FBC gymnasium for graduation rehearsals, where they practiced the procession, seating arrangements, and ceremonial movements.
The activity was supervised by Tactical NCOs Sgt Israel B Diaz PA (Res), and Sgt Claire P Palmos PA (Res), whose guidance ensured an organized and productive training session.
The practice strengthened discipline, precision, and unity among the graduating cadets as they prepare for graduation day.

The Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit (ROTCU) of Fellowship Baptist College held its formation on the grounds of the FBC Senior High Facade on Saturday, May 10, 2026.
The activity began with the morning exercise led by the battalion and staff to build discipline, fitness, and camaraderie. The physical routine set the tone for the day and reinforced the unit's commitment to excellence and readiness.
Following the exercise, ๐๐ ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ง๐จ ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ (๐๐ง๐)๐ง๐๐ addressed the formation. He gave key instructions and announcements to guide the cadets in their upcoming duties and activities. ๐
๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (๐๐๐) ๐๐ and the Tactical NCOs: ๐๐ ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ ๐๐ข-๐จ๐ญ (๐๐๐ฌ) ๐๐; ๐๐ ๐ญ ๐๐ฌ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ณ (๐๐๐ฌ) ๐๐; and ๐๐ ๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฌ (๐๐๐ฌ) ๐๐ were also present to supervise and ensure order throughout the formation.
The formation reflected FBC ROTCUโs continued effort to instill leadership, responsibility, and service among its cadets. Through regular drills and clear communication, the unit strengthens both individual character and collective unity.
