This verse is about replacing anxiety with trust in God.
“Do not be anxious about anything…”
It doesn’t mean you’ll never feel worried. It means don’t let worry control you or consume your thoughts.

“but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving…”

Instead of overthinking, bring everything to God:

Prayer – talk to Him about your situation
Petition – be specific about what you need
Thanksgiving – still choose to be grateful, even before the answer comes

“present your requests to God.”
You’re encouraged to hand over your burdens instead of carrying them alone.

When anxiety comes, pray instead of panic, trust instead of overthink, and God will give you peace even before solutions appear.
