IIEE Southland College - Student Chapter

The BSEE students of Southland College had an enriching and memorable plant tour experience at First Gen Renewables Geothermal and MonteSol Renewable Energy from ACEN. The visit gave the students the chance to see actual renewable energy facilities and understand how geothermal and solar energy are transformed into electricity that powers communities.

Beyond the lessons learned, the activity became a valuable opportunity for the students to appreciate the importance of sustainable energy and the role of future electrical engineers in protecting the environment through innovation and technology.

A day filled with learning, exploration, and inspiration for the future engineers of tomorrow. ⚡🌱☀️
