Geras Integrated School Teaching Staff Celebrate Year-End Special School Get-Together
On December 18, 2025, the teaching staff of Geras Integrated School came together in a joyful and meaningful Year-End Special School Get-Together held at the Geras Open Stage, marking a happy celebration of gratitude, unity, and shared accomplishments.
The event started with a short program that set a warm and positive tone for the day. A heartfelt welcome message was delivered by Head Teacher IV, Eric O. Sigara, who expressed his appreciation for the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of the teaching staff throughout the year.
This was followed by an inspirational message from Principal Margarito S. Reyes Jr., who said “My wish is that, kayo ay uuwi sa bahay na masaya at patuloy na papasok sa paaralan na may parehong saya at sigla. There is always a right time. We may not be able to please everyone, but I am truly very happy today to see our Muslim brothers and sisters with us. We are not celebrating Christmas; we are celebrating Thanksgiving. We stand united for one common goal.” He emphasized in his concluding message that he will always support the teachers in any way he can.
Special recognition and gratitude were extended to Teachers’ Club President Rea Jane L. Anino for her leadership, as well as to the different committees who worked diligently to organize the event. The teaching staff also expressed their appreciation to the generous donors and supporters, including Fish Aquatic Hardware, SPTA Vice-President Robert J. Hakalan, Barangay Captain Tammy A. Ismael and his wife Juray Ismael, and the school’s instructional leaders—Margarito S. Reyes Jr., Eric O. Sigara, Danilo F. Macario, and Mark Randy Bertulfo—for their valuable contributions.
Acknowledgment was also given to the judges of the TikTok Dance competition, namely Irene Sanoy Reyes, Ritchie J. Atilano, and Aiselle Gasoh, whose support added excitement and creativity to the celebration.
Following the program, the teaching staff enjoyed a sumptuous lunch, which provided an opportunity for relaxation, bonding, and shared conversations. The afternoon continued with lively parlor games, where teachers actively participated and competed for beautiful prizes, filling the venue with laughter and cheers.
The highlight of the celebration was the Big Ball Volleyball Game, where teachers played with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Despite the heat, occasional slips, and moments of exhaustion, the game was filled with laughter and joy, reflecting the strong camaraderie among the teaching staff.
The Year-End Special School Get-Together concluded with the teachers feeling tired yet extremely happy, bringing home smiles, renewed energy, and strengthened bonds—an uplifting reminder of unity, gratitude, and shared purpose within the Geras Integrated School teaching community.
