𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | Small Steps, Big Dreams: Turod Integrated School Conducts Moving Up Ceremony for SY 2025-2026

Turod Integrated School held its Moving Up Ceremony for Kindergarten and Grade 10 learners today, March 30. The event was simple but full of joy and pride.

The young learners from Kindergarten smiled as they received their certificates. Parents and teachers cheered for them as they moved up to the next level of their education.

Grade 10 students also marked an important milestone. They are now ready to enter senior high school and face new challenges. Some students shared that they felt excited and a little nervous about what comes next.

The school principal congratulated all the completers and thanked the teachers and parents for their support. The ceremony ended with happy faces, photos, and hopes for a brighter future.

Turod Integrated School held its Recognition Program to honor the achievements of learners from Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School for the School Year 2025–2026.

The activity was attended by students, teachers, and parents who gathered to celebrate the hard work and success of the awardees. Different awards were given to students who performed well in their studies and showed good behavior.

The program was simple but full of joy. Students went on stage to receive their awards while their parents watched proudly. Smiles and applause filled the venue as each name was called.

Teachers also expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the students. They encouraged everyone to continue doing their best in their studies.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | Turod Integrated School Participates in Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)

Turod Integrated School participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on March 12, 2016 at exactly 3:00 in the afternoon. The activity aimed to help students, teachers, and staff learn the proper actions during an earthquake.

The drill was initiated by the school’s DRRM Coordinator, Ms. Dana Kate Marcelo, Administrative Officer of the school. She guided the school community in conducting the safety drill to promote disaster preparedness.

During the drill, students, teachers, and school personnel practiced the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure. This safety action teaches everyone how to protect themselves during strong ground shaking.

The activity helped improve the awareness and readiness of the whole school in case an earthquake happens. It also reminded everyone of the importance of staying calm and following safety instructions during emergencies.

Through its participation in the NSED, Turod Integrated School continues to support programs that promote safety, preparedness, and disaster awareness among students and the community.

The votes are in and the results are official! The newly elected SELG officers have been proclaimed after a successful student election.

Chosen by the student body, these leaders are now ready to serve, represent, and lead with dedication and excellence.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | United in Legacy: TIS Concludes 22nd Founding Anniversary with Stakeholders Convergence Day

Turod Integrated School culminated its 22nd Founding Anniversary with a meaningful Stakeholders Convergence Day, bringing together the people who have shaped and sustained the institution through the years.

The gathering was attended by community leaders, former school teachers, learners, faculty, and staff, a true reflection of the strong partnerships that continue to guide the school’s growth. The celebration was further enlivened by performances from the TIS Band, whose music added pride and vibrance to the occasion.

As the final event of the anniversary celebration, Stakeholders Convergence Day served as a powerful reminder that TIS thrives not only because of its history, but because of the enduring unity and support of its community.
