The election is now on going, the Student Election Board want to remind everyone that the election started earlier at 8:00 am and will end at 11:59 pm/23 59. This would help to give enough time to cast your votes.

The Student Election Board want also to apologize for the delay of some ballot forms to your respective email addresses. The SEB is currently sending the remaining ballots through your email address.

Pursuant to 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗕 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗡𝗼. 07, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 2026, the Student Election Board presents the important provisions under the Proposed General Guidelines and Proposed Technical Guidelines for the Online SSC Election 2026.

In line with the Proposed General Guidelines for Online Election and Proposed Technical Guidelines, the Student Election Board highlights the following provisions;

𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗜 – 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮
The election shall be conducted through Google Forms as the official online voting platform.

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗜– 𝙑𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙧'𝙨 𝙀𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
Only bona fide students included in the updated master list are eligible to vote using their official educational email address, with strictly one vote per student.

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗜𝗜 – 𝙑𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙧'𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀-𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙩
All votes shall carry equal weight, candidate options shall be randomized, and e-ballots shall only be valid upon complete and accurate submission.

𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗜– 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮
The online election system shall ensure security, transparency, and integrity throughout the election process.

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗜– 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨
Only authorized students listed in the updated master list shall be granted access to the official Google Forms.

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗜𝗜 – 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
Mandatory sign-in and single-response authentication shall prevent duplicate voting entries.

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗩 – 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮
Editor access shall only be limited to authorized SEB Chairpersons.

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗩– 𝙑𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜
All submitted ballots shall be automatically recorded in the official response sheet.

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗜 – 𝘿𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮
Election response sheets shall not be exported, duplicated, copied, or shared.

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗜𝗜– 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙫𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮
Google Sheet version history shall be used to verify vote integrity during canvassing.

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗜𝗜𝗜– 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
The original response sheet shall be archived as the official election record after canvassing.

The Student Election Board encourages every student to exercise their right to vote responsibly and independently. Let us uphold the principles of fairness, transparency, accountability, and genuine student representation as we prepare for the SSC Election 2026.
