Through the sale of Adventist literature Massiel Fabian supports her family, shares hope, and attracts Bible students. She was first introduced to literature evangelism by the pastoral couple if her church, who recognized her potential for this work. Despite financial difficulties and other responsibilities – such as full-time employment as a teacher, caring for her sick mother, and overseeing her sister’s education – Massiel accepted the challenge.

We lived in poverty. Our lives were very difficult since my husband, Mr. Vijaykumar, worked as an auto (rickshaw) driver. For some time, our two sons, Jashwanth (10) and Abiathar (6), stayed home because we couldn’t afford to pay for their school fees. While at home, they were earnestly praying to God:
“Why is our daddy working so hard? Please, give him a good job so that we can be happy in our home.”

My journey as a literature evangelist in 2020 was full of challenges, but I praise God for leading me through the pandemic. Nothing stopped or hindered my work. I felt His hands guiding me; His presence next to me; and His angels working on my behalf. God has been so kind. Despite my mistakes and successes, He used me in this sacred and unique ministry.

18-year-old Erika Priscila Silva do Carmo was preparing for her college entrance exams. The study routine was common to those her age, but Erika had bigger dreams. A resident of Belém in the state of Pará (northern Brazil), the neighborhood Terra Firme, posed a high level of violence. It was sometimes scary, but that didn’t stop Erika from pursuing her goals.
