The risk management system or selectivity for every shipment can be determined only after entry lodgement in the e2m (electronic to mobile).

Most of our shipment is tagged either Yellow (document check) or Orange (for X-Ray).

Yes, document check can be possibly done within a day, pero meron ding more than 1 day. These are the possible causes:

1. Slow server
2. Lacking documents submitted by the broker in the BOC portal
3. Slow processing by examiners/appraisers maybe due to high volume of shipment assigned or in a meeting.
4. Value upgrading (3 to 5 working days) or re classification

For our containerized shipment (Full Container Load), we can say that almost 100% of our shipment is released within the 5-day free time thus, no storage incurred.🥰

For Less Container Load or LCL, this is consolidated cargo, so we need to wait for the forwarder to process it at BOC. Then release the container, transfer to ACOP warehouse and for stripping. It is normal to incur storage (4-7 working days) from the date of transfer to the warehouse.

For air shipment, this is the slowest. Aside from submitting the documents thought portal, Customs Brokers should submit to NAIA the hard copies (originals) and tutukan. This is the most challenging part that you need to visit your entry daily to get it done. Average storage 4-7 days. If you can release it in 1-2 days (except for back door release). Baka may himala na yan!

We appeal to the Bureau of Customs PH to make necessary improvements for air shipment. Kaya nga po nag pa air freight para mas mabilis. Yung mabilis po na wala kaming lalagyan kasi kumpleto at compliant naman po. Pls. be reminded na day 1 pa lang kahit tulog pa ang lahat, tumatakbo na ang storage charges per kilo x # of days (when we release).

Alam ba ninyo na lahat ng kargamentong pumapasok sa Pilipinas ay dumaraan sa risk management system ng Bureau of Customs (BOC)?

Kapag walang problema sa mga dokumento ng kargamento mo, tatlong oras lamang dapat ang itatagal nito. Kung may problema man, hindi ito dapat lumagpas sa tatlong araw.

Basahin ito upang maging pamilyar sa kalakaran ng BOC.
