The DA is calling out importers over the slow movement of red onion imports—a major concern with holiday demand kicking in and retail prices already hitting ₱320–₱330 per kilo.

Despite permits for 69,040 MT, only a fraction has arrived.
The DA warns: use your permits or lose them. Other importers—including FTI—may take over to stabilize supply.

No more onion drama this Christmas.
