many people were sharing sensationalized articles from questionable sources that painted a very negative picture. If people were more media and information literate, they would have been able to identify the biases and inaccuracies in those articles. Instead, the misinformation led to unnecessary panic and division within the community. If we had approached the issue with a more critical eye, verifying sources and seeking out balanced reporting, the discussion could have been much more productive and less divisive. This situation highlighted how crucial it is to have the skills to navigate and evaluate the information we encounter daily.

In a world filled with so much noise, having access to reliable and well-researched information is crucial for making informed decisions about everything from personal health to social issues. I used to think of media as just a source of entertainment and news, often not really considering how much it shapes my views.
