A new chapter of student leadership unfolds across the College of Business and Management as its recognized student organizations successfully concluded their respective online officer elections for the Academic Year 2026โ2027. The elections usher in a new cohort of student leaders committed to service, representation, and organizational excellence.
The Association of Cooperatives Management Students (ACMS), Association of Hospitality Management Students (AHMS), Junior Administrators and Managers Society (JAMS), and Tourism Students Society (TSS) conducted their respective polls giving members the opportunity to select the officers who will champion student initiatives throughout the year.
The conduct of the elections followed the issuance of Office of Student Affairs Memorandum No. 2026-005, which directed all recognized university- and college-based student organizations, councils, and publications to expedite their officer elections and submit their organizational calendars in preparation for the implementation of WVSU ALIGN and the consolidation of university-wide organizational plans.
With their mandates secured, the newly elected leaders are expected to strengthen collaboration, uphold student representation, and spearhead programs that foster a more active and engaged CBM community. | via John Carlo Hecustan
