Well we can argue about it but we can't argue with the customers, i am a former Customer Service Officer of a retail store and keeping yourself composed is quite difficult to an angry customer especially when you know that it is actually the fault of the customer and not yours.

However, we keep calm, collected and professional to the best that we can but dealing with the customers are no longer being done personally but through social media. In this time of online and digital era, we are experiencing this more frequently. 🙏

Everyone has started somewhere, right?

In my case, administrative support in a corporate environment is my starting point. Hired as a technical clerk, CAD operator, and tool keeper all at the same time in the engineering department of food manufacturing. Later on, designated as Safety Officer and Pollution Control Officer then promoted as a Management Trainee.

I was able to work in two government agencies as well, first as a team supervisor assigned in the field, and the next one was an admin assistant in accounting section.

The last corporate job I had was in a DIY-Hardware retail store, at first hired as an inventory clerk, transferred to the sales and marketing department, then promoted as branch supervisor and customer service officer.

Due to pandemic, I shifted to online freelancing but underwent some digital skills training until I finally became a scholar of a government-funded training program for Virtual Assistants.
