The President Ramon Magsaysay State University proudly congratulates Dr. Rowena R. Sazon, Ms. Wencie Y. Feliciano, and Mr. Eulysses A. Cajucom of the College of Agriculture and Forestry, PRMSU Botolan Campus and GMAP Zambales Team, for their remarkable achievement in the 2026 DOST-NRCP Annual Scientific Conference and 93rd General Membership Assembly.

Their research poster titled “Bioremediation Strategies for Mine Rehabilitation: Evidence from Nickel-Mined Areas Using a Copper Mine-Developed Protocol in Zambales” was awarded 3rd Place – Best Poster (Cluster IV) during the Poster Exhibit Competition held at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City on March 13, 2026.

We also extend our recognition to their co-authors Dr. Merdelyn C. Lit, Dr. Amelita C. Luna, Ms. Julieta A. Anarna, Ms. Delfina S. Iringan, Ms. Sylvia I. Lazaro, Ms. Emer C. Gestiada, Dr. Francisco B. Elegado, Dr. Nina M. Cadiz, and Dr. Nelly S. Aggangan for their valuable contributions to this outstanding research.

This achievement highlights PRMSU’s commitment to advancing scientific innovation, environmental sustainability, and impactful research for national development.
