💙 Healing and Resilience: Psychological First Aid for Our Brave Learners 🏫✨

In the wake of the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake that shook General Santos City, our top priority at New Society Central Elementary School isn't just rebuilding our spaces—it’s checking in on the hearts and minds of our learners.

Disasters can be incredibly overwhelming, especially for young minds. To help our students process, cope, and feel safe again, our dedicated teachers and guidance staff have successfully conducted Psychological First Aid (PFA) sessions across all grade levels.

🌟 What Went Down During Our PFA Sessions:
A Safe Space to Share: Learners were given a comforting environment to express their fears, thoughts, and experiences without judgment.

Normalizing Feelings: We reminded our kids that it is completely okay to feel scared, anxious, or worried after a big event like an earthquake.

Calming Techniques: Students learned simple, practical grounding techniques, like deep-breathing exercises and "butterfly hugs," to help manage anxiety.

Strength in Togetherness: Through collaborative games and expressive arts, our learners reconnected with their peers, reminding them that they are not alone.

👋 To Our Dear Parents and Guardians:
Healing takes time, and emotional aftershocks can sometimes last longer than the physical ones. Please continue to monitor your children at home. Listen to their stories, give them extra hugs, and assure them of their safety.

If you notice your child experiencing severe, prolonged distress, please do not hesitate to reach out to their class adviser or the school's guidance office. We are here for you.

🎉 MALAMPUSONG PAGPAHIGAYON SA PROFILING SA MGA GINIKANAN! 🤝

Malampusong gipahigayon sa Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region XII ang profiling sa mga ginikanan karong adlawa, Hunyo 16, 2026, diha sa Cornelio St., Apopong, General Santos City!

Kini nga kahigayonan usa ka dako kaayong tabang alang sa atong mga pamilya, ilabi na sa pagbangon human sa miaging makadaot nga 7.8 magnitude earthquake. Pinaagi niini nga inisyatibo, mas mapadali ang pagtino sa mga angay nga tabang ug interbensyon alang sa atong komunidad aron kita makasugod pag-usab.

✨ DAKONG PASALAMAT GIKAN SA KASINGKASING ✨
Ang kalampusan niini nga kalihokan nahimong posible tungod sa hugot nga pagtinabangay sa nagkalain-laing ahensya ug mga dedikadong lider. Buot namong ipaabot ang among kinasingkasing nga pasalamat kanila:
• DOLE Region XII – Sa panguna ni Regional Director Imelda F. Gatinao, sa inyong tiunay nga pagpangga ug dinaliang pagdala sa mga serbisyo ngadto sa katawhan.

📢 DOLE REGION XII AND NSCES PARTNERSHIP! 📢

In the wake of the recent 7.8 magnitude earthquake, we are stepping up together to rebuild, recover, and rise stronger than ever! 💪🏫

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region XII, headed by Regional Director Imelda F. Gatinao, in partnership with New Society Central Elementary School, represented by our School Principal, Ma'am Rosalie O. Pajarillo, EdD, will be conducting a Profiling of Parents for an emergency job employment program.

The profiling will start on June 16, 2026, 9:00 AM at New Society Central Elementary School. A designated area in the office frontage will be assigned for the profiling staff from the office of DOLE Region XII.

🛠️ Purpose of the Employment
We are looking for dedicated parents to help in the immediate rehabilitation and restoration of our beloved campus. Selected workers will be focused on:
• Debris Clearing: Cleaning up and clearing out the debris left behind by the earthquake to ensure a safe environment for our learners.
• Classroom Construction & Repair: Assisting in the rebuilding and structural repair of damaged classrooms.

⏳ Program Duration
• The employment period may last up to 40 days, providing financial support to families while directly helping our school community recover.

📋 What You Need to Do
This initiative aims to provide financial relief to families while giving our children a safe, functional space to learn once again.

Important Reminder: Parents of currently enrolled students are highly encouraged to participate.
