Curio Basics makes an effort to be as eco-friendly as we can.

The ugly truth about soy wax:

Soy wax is natural and renewable, but it's also a by-product of the beef and dairy industry.

So what makes Curio Candles eco-friendly? Unlike parafin, which may hold more scent and is a lot cheaper, it's also non-renewable and is a by-product of the oil industry. Soy wax is environmantally friendly, renewable and a lot less harmful to the body and burns cleaner unlike parafin. It's also 100% plant-based (save the bees (bee emoji)). Instead of the by-product of the beef and dairy industry going to waste, it was made into wax which we can now enjoy as candles.
