Our dedicated student reading tutors immerse themselves in various reading materials with joy in the reading corner. Meanwhile, the reading assessment continues with the guidance of school reading coordinator Ma'am Generose Tabulo, and SSLG adviser Sir Gelmer Cabag, fostering a supportive and enriching environment for all.

With focused determination, they navigated through the process, ensuring each student's reading progress was meticulously evaluated.

Assessing New Enrollees' Reading Levels

The student reading tutors, along with school reading coordinator Ma'am Generose Garcia Tabulo and English reading teacher Sir Hector P. Rique, conducted a reading assessment for new enrollees.

On the first day, 57 students were evaluated to determine their reading levels in both Filipino and English, ensuring tailored support for each student's literacy journey.

Reading tutors enthusiastically participated in the Motorcade during Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off, highlighting the advocacy of Brigada sa Pagbasa at Pagsulat. Their vibrant presence and dedication showcased their commitment to promoting literacy and education within the community, spreading awareness and excitement for the upcoming school year.

During the 4th Reading Culmination of the Filipino and Reading Programs, the achievements of the reading tutees and tutors were celebrated. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to the dedicated students and supportive stakeholders who made these programs and peer-led student reading tutorials possible. Highlights of the event included choral reading presentations by the tutees and tutors, along with tutees showcasing their creativity by reading their short stories in both English and Filipino. The event was filled with inspiration and pride.
