I AM SO GRATEFUL.
Here’s a little recap of my unique journey, one filled with hardship, perseverance, and grace.
It’s never too late to become what you’ve always dreamed of.
The Lord has brought a beautiful transformation in me, allowing me to conquer this monumental milestone of passing the NCLEX.
I truly believe that when the timing is right, everything aligns perfectly and gently according to the path He has prepared for me. Along the way, I met the right people, those who cheered me on, motivated me, encouraged me, and helped me push through, even at this stage of life.
There was a time I thought my nursing career was over. But it wasn’t the end, it was just a pause. The call to wear scrubs again never stopped tugging at my heart. And now I know, age is just a number.
Being healthy and driven at this point in life is proof that my purpose is still in full “work mode.”
To all the young nurses out there: Keep embracing the calling to serve and care from the heart. The journey may not be easy, but the fulfillment it brings is beyond measure. Always remember that good things don’t come easy but they are always worth it.
Dear God, Your plan is truly amazing, perfect and beyond question.
I am blessed to be a blessing. In Your grace and mercy, I’ve found my victory.
This achievement is dedicated to my rock and constant support my Sweetheart, Aris who never get tired of giving me full support and preparing my study area while I worked toward this dream. Thank you for being my calm, my driver to the testing center, and for always showing up for me.
To the four lights of my life Kim, Ker, Klaris, and Kean I'm so lucky to have you all.
To my supportive in-laws, my indefatigable and hands-on mentor Dr. Ray A. Gapuz, and the entire RAGRS team you each played such vital roles in this victory.
To our sweet cheerleaders in the USA Ronald Subijano and Rowena and their daughters, your love was felt across the miles.
To my lovely future daughter-in-law Mae Lorilla, and my soon-to-be fellow colleague Kimberly, who always said, “Kaya mo yan Mommy, we’re rooting for you!” I’m deeply grateful to both of you.
This triumph is priceless.
I also want to thank the doctors, colleagues, and countries that have shaped my career and character, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. Each has left a mark on me, helping mold the nurse I am today.
The little Florence Nightingale in me salutes you all , my stethoscope in hand and heart full of gratitude.
I now embrace this new beginning with joy.
Through the blood, sweat, and tears that led me to finally earn the letters after my name, I will always kneel before the Lord and ask to be a vessel of His divine healing and purpose.
Lord, help me lead a life worthy of Your calling.
You make all things beautiful in Your perfect time.
Just a small nurse with a big fight, dancing in joy today.
