𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗, 𝗣𝗖𝗔𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗗, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗢𝗟 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱

An UN-SDG Based Priority Program of CHED, under the leadership of Chair Shirley C. Agrupis, with Commissioner Ricmar P. Aquino as the oversight commissioner, the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁-𝘂𝗽 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗢𝗟 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 was officially launched yesterday, June 10, 2026 in celebration of CHED 32nd Anniversary.

SIBOL is a pilot program on student-based technology business incubation that aims to create a responsive and future-ready student-based start-up that will stimulate regional development and support attainment of UN SDGs, to be led by Isabela State University (ISU). The program supports CHED- ACHIEVE Agenda by (1) strengthen initiatives to realize UN- SDGs; (2) develop human resources who are future-ready; and (3) increase graduate success. This 125 million pesos initiative is under the commission’s Higher Education Development Fund (HEDF).

The program will provide capability-building activities to improve students’ technology expertise and business management skills. In the process, both the university and the student will co-create enterprises that are need-driven, technology-oriented, and industry-focused. The program is likewise multifaceted, where members of the organization will contribute by providing peer or expert advice, financial support, and a competitive environment.

It will be implemented in 𝟮𝟰 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 under the 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗣𝗖𝗔𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗗 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶- 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. Under the leadership of ISU, the SUCs participating in the program includes MMSU, DMMMSU, BSU, IfSU, CLSU, PSAU, BPSU, CVSU, LPSU, BU, WPU, CTU, CAPSU, BISU, CTU, UPV, USM, CMU, WMSU, SKSU, USEP, MSU-Naawan, CSU. The awarding ceremony yesterday was attended by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗡. 𝗡𝗮𝘆𝗴𝗮, the program Lead Coordinator, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝘆 𝗔. 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗮, the Assistant Director of PCAARRD Technology Transfer and Promotion Division.

Furthermore, the program is a reflection of ISU’s new shared commitment under the administration of Dr. Boyet L. Batang in developing lifelong and future-ready professionals empowered to become generators of knowledge and agents of positive change for the inclusive and sustainable transformation of communities.

𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗣𝗖𝗔𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗗-𝗜𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝗧𝗕𝗜 joins this year's 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 in celebration of 𝗜𝗦𝗨'𝘀 𝟰𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆. Happening on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗦𝗨 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺, we are delighted to introduce the list of ISU-ATBI-supported products to be exhibited.

The National Meat Inspection Services (NMIS) conducted an audit today, May 6, 2026, at the Agricom Best Foods Corporation’s slaughterhouse facility for the renewal of its License to Operate (LTO).

After the process audit, the NMIS auditors unanimously endorse the renewal of the facility's LTO for 3 years, affirming the company’s commitment to food safety. The accreditation is also a testament to the company’s readiness in upscaling product market reach nationwide.

Agricom Best Foods Corp. is an acceleratee of DOST-PCAARRD-ISU ATBI and supported by the DOST-PCAARRD Start-up Grant Program. The continuous technical and business management support extended to the company forms part of ISU’s commitment to strengthen agricultural industries in the region.
