If a serious illness happens, who would you rather pay... yourself or your insurance?
Hospital bills can reach millions, while insurance costs only a fraction of that. The difference matters when it counts.

Kaye Abad and Doc Willie Ong both chose to have their cancer treatment in Singapore.
And while many see it as a personal or medical decision, it also reflects a bigger truthā
cancer care is extremely expensive.
Tinuod jud na⦠once cancer enters your life, it doesnāt just attack your health.
It affects your finances. Your family. Your work. Your future plans.
Treatment in countries like Singapore is advanced, fast, and completeābut the cost is very high. Even in private hospitals here in the Philippines, cancer treatment can quickly drain savings.
Thatās why those who are privileged, insured, or financially capable often choose treatment abroad for faster and more specialized care.
But not everyone has that option.
So what happens here in the Philippines?
We have government hospitals and cancer centers that offer free or low-cost treatment. Doctors guide patients where to go, unsa nga process, and what fits their condition and budget.
But reality checkā¦
Libre does not mean easy.
You will wait. You will queue. You will adjust your life around the system.
And for many families, even that āfree optionā is still hard to manage.
In our case, we also had to make hard choices.
As much as we want the free option, itās not always realistic because:
⢠I still need to work
⢠We are only a small family handling everything
⢠My mother needs timely treatment, dili pwede ma-delay
⢠Responsibilities donāt stop even when illness starts
So decisions become very personal⦠and very heavy.
And this is what people donāt always seeā
Cancer divides reality into ācan affordā and ācanāt afford.ā
And dili jud malikayan na naa jud mag adviseā
āDaghan man libre, pwede man mo didto magpa-treat.ā
Yes, that is true. There are free options. And they help many people.
But the reality is, every patient and every family has different situationsātiming, urgency, capacity, and responsibility.
Pero what about those who canāt?
Thatās the painful truth.
But even in this realityā¦
God remains faithful.
Bisag lisod, bisag kulang, bisag way klaro nga next stepāHe still provides.
So whatever your situation isā
Dili mawala ang paglaom.
Dili mohunong ang pagsalig.
Because at the end of the day, cancer is not just about hospitals or moneyā¦
Itās about fighting for life, even when everything feels uncertain. š¤š
