LOOK: On April 01, 2026, the Coast Guard Nursing Service Sub-Unit RTC Aurora spearheaded Mental Health Awareness for the trainees of CGNOC Class 119-2026 aboard Regional Training Center Aurora.

NSSU RTC Aurora firmly believes that in a profession that demands courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment, taking care of one’s mental health is just as important as physical readiness. This activity focuses on building awareness, breaking stigma, and equipping our future coastguardians with tools to stay mentally strong both on and off duty.

“A CPR READY PCG”

In Photos: In celebration of the 124th PCG Founding Anniversary, NSSU RTC Aurora conducted Simultaneous 2-day Basic Life Support to Regional Training Center Aurora personnel on 24-25 September 2025 aboard Multipurpose Hall, RTC Aurora, Brgy Mijares, Dipaculao, Aurora.

This initiative emphasizes emergency readiness and preparedness of all PCG personnel in providing Basic Life Support which includes CPR, use of AED, Rescue Breath and Foreign Body Airway Management to improve survival rates until advance life support arrives.

In Photos: NSSU RTC Aurora, spearheaded by ENS KATHLEEN J GABINERA NC PCG, conducted 2-day Basic Life Support to Station and Substations of CGS Aurora last 17-18 September 2025 at Brgy Function Hall, North Poblacion, Dipaculao, Aurora.

Said activity aims to enhance skills and confidence of PCG personnel in responding various emergency cases by equipping them with life saving techniques such as CPR,use of AED, Rescue Breathing and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction Management.
