📖 𝟸 𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚢 𝟹:𝟷–𝟻
𝙿𝚝𝚛. 𝙵𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚒𝚜 𝚁𝚢𝚊𝚗 𝙿𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚕𝚊𝚗

In these difficult times, Scripture reminds us that the greatest problem is not merely what is happening around us—but what is happening within people’s hearts.

🔹 𝐈. People are lovers of themselves (v.2)
Self-centeredness pulls us away from Christ and leads us to follow our own desires rather than God’s will. A heart focused on self loses peace and becomes hardened toward God.
📖 “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” – Luke 9:23

🔹 𝐈𝐈. People are not lovers of good (v.3)
We live in a time where good is called evil and evil is celebrated as good. God calls us to stand for truth even when culture says otherwise.
📖 Isaiah 5:20 | Romans 1:32

🔹 𝐈𝐈𝐈. People are lovers of pleasure (v.4)
When worldly desires take the place of God, our hearts slowly drift away from Him. Temporary pleasures can never replace eternal joy found in Christ.
📖 1 John 2:15–16

🔹 𝐈𝐕. People are outwardly godly but without power (v.5)
Faith is not merely an outward appearance. God desires transformed hearts, not just religious actions.
📖 “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” – Matthew 15:8

Terrible times reveal the condition of people’s hearts. The answer is not found in the world—but in genuine surrender and transformation through Christ. 🙌
