𝘿𝘾𝙎–𝙄𝙎𝘾 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 2025 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙍𝙎 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨

Diffun Central School – Integrated SPED Center (DCS–ISC) proudly marked another milestone as it earned multiple distinctions during the 2025 Regional STARS Awards Grand Awarding Ceremony held at The Capital Arena, Alibagu, Ilagan City.

DCS–ISC was named Finalist for Best Performing School (Elementary), under the leadership of our School Principal, ma’am Rhodora M. Blanza, P-III. This recognition highlights the school’s continuous pursuit of excellence in delivering quality and inclusive education. The honor reflects the collective efforts of its administrators, faculty, staff, stakeholders, parents, and learners.

Two educators from DCS–ISC also emerged as regional finalists in their respective categories. Ma’am Helen Grace C. Libatique was recognized as a Finalist for Most Outstanding Master Teacher (Elementary) for her exemplary instructional leadership and commitment to learner-centered teaching. Meanwhile, Mr. Charlie Salvador earned the distinction of Finalist for Most Outstanding ALS Teacher, reaffirming the school’s dedication to providing accessible education for all through the Alternative Learning System.

The 2025 Regional STARS Awards celebrates exceptional schools and educators across DepEd Region 2 who demonstrate outstanding performance, dedication, and leadership in the field of education.

With these achievements, DCS–ISC continues to strengthen its reputation as a leading institution committed to nurturing competent, compassionate, and future-ready learners.

Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)–Quirino Province brought smiles and holiday warmth to Diffun Central School–Integrated SPED Center as they conducted a meaningful gift-giving activity for parents and learners with special needs.

The simple yet heartfelt program aimed to show support, care, and encouragement to families who continue to guide and nurture children with diverse needs. Representatives from PCSO, together with school personnel, personally handed out packs filled with essential goods, lightening the load of families and bringing joy to the learners.

Parents expressed their gratitude for the initiative, sharing how acts of kindness like this remind them that their efforts are seen and supported. Learners, on the other hand, excitedly received their gifts, filling the room with laughter and bright smiles.

The event not only strengthened community ties but also affirmed PCSO’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups and promoting inclusive programs across the province. Through partnerships like this, hope continues to grow and proving that compassion, when shared, makes a big difference.
