HAPPENING NOW | The CHED Region 02 Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT), with the Graduate School Technical Panel/Committee, is evaluating the Master of Science in Agriculture Major in Crop Science of Qurino State University today, September 11, 2025.
The faculty of the Master of Science in Agriculture, led by Program Chairperson Dr. Minajoy B. Wigan, actively participated in the activity, along with CHED Regional Office evaluators Engr. Joven B. Jacinto, Education Supervisor II of CHED-RO2 and Dr. Amado O. Cortez, Jr. Dean, College of Agriculture of Isabela State University. Technical panel members include Dr. Rosana P. Mula, Dr. Federico P. Perez, and Dr. Tonette P. Laude also joined online.
This visit also provides us with the opportunity to showcase our strengths, address area of improvement, and affirm our commitment to providing transformative education for our students and stakeholders.
The RQAT plays a vital role in ensuring that graduate programs meet CHED’s standards, safeguarding academic quality and paving the way for the issuance of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).

JUST Concluded I Quirino State University conducted a comprehensive discussion on the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the SUC Levelling Instrument and assessed the university’s status in preparation for its advancement to a higher State Universities and Colleges (SUC) level. The activity was held on August 8, 2025, at the Amphitheater, QSU Training Center, Diffun Campus.
The activity was attended by the University’s Vice Presidents, Chief Administrative Officer, Supervising Administrative Officers, University Directors, Campus Administrators and Directors, Unit Heads, and Program Chairs from both graduate and undergraduate programs.
Spearheaded by Dr. Elizabeth T. Carig, Vice President for Academics, Research, and Extension, and facilitated by the Quality Assurance Office, the discussion sought to align QSU’s strategic directions with the requirements of the SUC Levelling framework, guaranteeing that both academic and administrative units are fully informed and engaged in the university’s pursuit of institutional advancement.

HAPPENING NOW | The CHED Region 02 Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT), together with the Graduate School Technical Panel/Committee, is conducting an inspection and evaluation of the Graduate School Program Offerings at CSU Carig, Tuguegarao City, today, August 1, 2025.
This activity ensures that the graduate programs comply with CHED’s Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (PSGs) for graduate education. It also serves as a key step in the issuance of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC), which is required for the continued offering of these programs.

JUST IN | Continuation of the Strategic and Annual PlanningWorkshop is being conducted today, July 09, until tomorrow, July 10, at the Research Conference Room, QSU - Diffun Campus.
This endeavor is crucial in the preparation for the finalization of the university's Five-Year Development Plan (FYDP 2025-2029).
