SPMC - Urology

A milestone in the field of Urology in Mindanao, right here in SPMC!
SPMC Department of Urology had their breakthrough with 3 scheduled cases of Robotics surgery last April 23 and April 24. Robotic Radical prostatectomy and Robotic Nephrectomies (1 partial & 1 total) were all completed in the said dates.

We are truly grateful to Dr. Dennis Lusaya for flying in from Manila to impart knowledge and skills (including tips & tricks) to our Robotic Certified surgeons, Dr Michael Jonathan Latayan (console) and Dr. Victor Espino (bedside)

We thank the MIS nurses, attendants and the residents who have made all this possible.
