Squared is planning a major step toward campus digitalization as it eyes the implementation of mandatory Squared QR Code Card Registration for all students in School Year 2026–2027.

The initiative forms part of the organization's long-term development framework known as the Squared Blueprint, which aims to expand digital services, improve student experiences, and strengthen technology-driven solutions within Davao Central College.

According to Squared officials, making registration mandatory would allow more students to access current and future services powered by the Squared platform. The move is expected to establish a unified digital identity system that can support a wide range of academic, organizational, and student engagement activities.

One of the key partnerships behind the initiative is the collaboration between Squared and the College Supreme Student Government (CSSG). Both organizations are currently exploring new programs and services that will rely on QR Code technology to improve efficiency and student participation.

Among the proposed innovations is QR Quest, an interactive activity designed for Freshmen and Transferee Day Events. Through QR-based challenges and activities, the initiative seeks to encourage interaction between new students and upperclassmen, helping build connections, familiarity, and a stronger sense of community within the college.

Beyond student engagement, the proposed registration system is also expected to support the modernization of financial transactions across campus organizations.

Squared is currently planning the development of digital membership payment services (Squared Pay), which would gradually replace traditional paper receipts with electronic transaction records. Under the proposed system, students would be able to view payment histories and digital receipts directly through their Squared Portal.

The transition is expected to benefit both students and student organizations by reducing paperwork, minimizing encoding errors, improving financial transparency, and providing easier access to transaction records. In addition, the shift supports environmental sustainability efforts by reducing the use of printed receipts and paper documentation.

Student leaders believe that a fully integrated QR ecosystem could create a more connected and efficient campus environment while preparing students for increasingly digital workflows.

If implemented, the mandatory registration policy would mark one of the most significant expansions of the Squared platform since its launch, transforming it from an attendance and evaluation tool into a comprehensive student services ecosystem.

As planning continues, Squared and CSSG are expected to release further details regarding implementation guidelines, service coverage, and student benefits in the coming months.

The initiative reflects a shared vision between student organizations to build a smarter, more accessible, and technology-driven campus experience for all DCC students.

Student activities at the Davao Central College Tertiary Education (TEd) Campus have achieved a significant milestone as overall student satisfaction rate increased by 8.86 percentage points during the Second Semester of School Year 2025–2026.

According to records from the Squared Archives, the overall satisfaction rate rose from 79.77% during the Second Semester of School Year 2024–2025 to 88.63% in the same semester of School Year 2025–2026. The data were gathered from evaluations conducted by various campus clubs and organizations through the Squared Evaluation Services (Google Form).

The improvement reflects a growing positive response from students toward campus programs, activities, and organizational initiatives. From leadership trainings and academic events to student-centered programs and celebrations, organizations have continued to strengthen their efforts to create meaningful and engaging experiences for the student body.

Behind the figures is a careful process of validation and analysis. Squared Officers Ezikiel Lyn B. Sumilhig (Squared Graphic Designer), Angel Trisha Mae S. Arab (ITE Squad Member), and Lady Lovell O. Paller (Squared Vice President) meticulously checked and verified the records stored within the Squared Archives to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the reported results.

The increase is not merely a statistical achievement, it is an indication that students are becoming more engaged, more involved, and more satisfied with the opportunities being provided across the campus. As organizations continue to innovate and improve their programs, the growing satisfaction rate suggests that their efforts are resonating with the student community.

Squared officials noted that the findings will serve as a valuable reference for future planning, helping organizations identify effective practices and areas for further enhancement. Through data-driven insights, campus organizations can better understand student needs and deliver programs that create lasting impact.

As the DCC TEd Campus continues to foster a culture of participation and excellence, the latest satisfaction figures stand as a testament to the collective efforts of student leaders, faculty advisers, and participants who contribute to the success of every activity.

With student satisfaction now nearing the 90-percent mark, the challenge for the coming academic year is clear: to build on this momentum and continue creating experiences that inspire, engage, and empower the DCC community.
