Over two days, women leaders, youth, social entrepreneurs, policy champions, and partners convened in Davao City to amplify women’s economic empowerment and strengthen agri-fishery value chains across BaSulTa and beyond. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our resource persons from Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform, BARMM, makesense, Foundation for a Sustainable Society, Inc. - FSSI and Villgro Philippines for sharing their invaluable insights and strengthening the ecosystem for women-led social enterprises.
We also celebrate the strong policy commitment of Senator Kiko Pangilinan, Senator Risa Hontiveros, and Akbayan Rep. Perci Cendaña in championing the PRESENT Bill — a step forward in institutionalizing support for social enterprises that empower women, foster inclusion, and drive a just economy.
