🌟 EARTHQUAKE RELIEF MISSION UPDATE & CALL FOR HELP
In every relief effort, someone is always willing to help. This mission was no different.
Despite the challenges brought by the recent earthquake, unreliable phone signals, and limited communication from affected communities, volunteers, donors, and partners came together to bring assistance to families in need.
The Matina Community Pantry, Art Relief Mobile Kitchen Davao, and Art Relief Mobile Kitchen express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make the first leg of our earthquake relief mission to Sarangani Province possible.
📦 What Has Been Accomplished So Far:
Water & Sanitation: Procured food-grade jerry cans and delivered a massive 15-ton water tank.
Logistics & Kitchen Setup: Transported a full truckload of kitchen equipment and fresh ingredients.
Food Distribution: Served hot, freshly cooked pancit sotanghon and canton to evacuees in Barangays Kawas and Malapatan.
🤝 Special Thanks & Acknowledgments
Our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude. A massive shoutout to the partners who made our resources go further:
Our water supplier for extending a generous ₱5,000 discount.
SNA for pledging an entire truckload of clothing.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, prayed, shared our posts, and helped in any way. Because of you, we were able to bring water, food, and hope to communities affected by the earthquake. Your generosity reminds us that even in difficult times, there is always someone willing to help.
🛣️ Next Steps: The Mission Continues
Glan: Despite uncertain conditions, the team is pushing forward to deliver freshly cooked, nutritious meals, alongside eggs, canned goods, candles, matches, rechargeable lights, and clothing.
June 18–22: Our second major relief mission is scheduled for Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental.
