Buko Turon 🤤

Unlike the standard banana turon which is often coated in caramelized sugar on the outside, Buko Turon usually relies on the creamy, silky texture of the coconut filling. It’s essentially a "coconut pie" in egg roll form.
Inside, you can see a thick, translucent white filling. This is typically a mixture of shredded young coconut (buko) and a sweetened cream or milk sauce, thickened to a custard-like consistency
