ESL Teacher/Online English Teacher

Account Description:
- The account specializes in conducting 50-minute online English lessons to Japanese professionals.

Job Description:
- Perform work five (5) days a week
- Must be adaptable, flexible, and willing to work on a shifting schedule
- Report to One Felicity Center, Commonwealth Quezon City
- Undergo training and meet training requirements
- Maintain an understanding of program-specific training
- Effectively provide quality learning experiences according to specified methodologies
- Implement the structured lesson management plans
- Collaborate with the team projects to enforce quality standards across lessons
- Actively participate in knowledge and skills development activities
- Ensure the department operates efficiently according to program and company measures and policies

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Must have a score of 80% or more in the English Proficiency Exam (internal exam)
- Must have above-average command of the English Language
- Must be able to expound on general topics with efficiency and clarity
- Must be a graduate of a 4-year course, preferably business or communication-related
- Must have at least 1-2 years experience in online teaching
- Can type at least 40 WPM

IT ASSISTANT

• Checks internet server connection (network) and ensure it is up and running
• Monitors and maintains computer systems, networks and security of PCs/network
• Trouble shoots and resolves all hardware problems i.e. printers, mouse, monitor, cable, hard disk, etc.
• Installing and configure computer software and hardware operating systems and applications
• Provides support in network and computing infrastructure, including procedural documentation
• Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues (user access control) manage user accounts and permissions
• Documents system standards for computer, network devices, network problems and resolution
• Manages system back-up, maintenance and restore protocol
• Assists in the communication of issues of the equipment or services to vendors for immediate improvement and development
• Maintains inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities
• Undertakes related and other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience in a technical support environment
• Knowledge in Desktop set-up, configuration, Network Operations and Network Security
• Familiarity in MS Operating Systems
• Understanding of service & support operations best practices
• Attention to details

*** The account specializes in conducting 25-minute online English lessons to Japanese students age 13-18 (approximately Junior High School, High School, and/or College level). These lessons are supplementary lessons in accordance to cram school curricula.

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
* Graduate of any 4-year course
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
* Experience in teaching online is an advantage
* Willing to be assigned in One Felicity Center, Commonwealth Quezon City

Responsibilities:
• Transfer the knowledge of digital security related service from the group company in Tokyo
• Establish the strong operation team in the Philippines
• Spearhead the team to provide the transferred service to the companies in Japan and in the Philippines
• Perform translation documents from Japanese and English (vice versa) as needed by the projects
• Provide full coordination of any technical or non-technical project activities and processes
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the CEO or SVP

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in Web / Application development.
• Must be fluent in Japanese, preferably JLPT N2 holder
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Understanding of pe*******on tests, vulnerability assessments for the web and mobile applications
• CISSP, CISA, CISM or other certificates will be preferable
• Experienced in secure application coding and application security scanning
• Understanding of basic programing, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive frameworks
• Willing to go abroad (Japan) for mid to long term business trip
• Willing to be assigned in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig and Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City
• Position is open for JLPT N3 passer, but must have a relative working experience
