The College of Islamic Studies - Cotabato State University successfully held the Ramadhan Symposium with the theme "Sustaining Faith and Practice in Mid-Ramadan" and CIS- Local Student Council Free- Iftar at Cotabato State University Gymnasium on March 6, 2026.

Alhamdulillah! The event featured insightful reminders from our resource speakers, Shiek Abdulbasit Daud and Shiek Abdulwahab Kawilan, on strengthening our īmān, worship, and character.

We express our gratitude to all who participated and contributed to the success of this event. May we continue to apply the lessons learned and make this Ramadhan spiritually enriching.

𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐇𝐀̄𝐍 𝐌𝐔𝐁𝐀̄𝐑𝐀𝐊 || 𝗗𝗔𝗬 1 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗜𝗙𝗧𝗔𝗥

In the blessed spirit of Ramadhān, the 𝐂𝐈𝐒 - 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (CIS-LSC) joyfully came together to organize and gather for a 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗜𝗳𝘁𝗮𝗿 today, February 19, 2026. This meaningful initiative reflects the true essence of the holy month—generosity, unity, and care for one another.

As we shared food and fellowship, we were reminded that Ramadan is not only about fasting, but also about strengthening our bonds as a community, extending kindness, and seeking the pleasure of Allah through sincere acts of service.

The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “Whoever provides food for a fasting person to break his fast will have a reward equal to his, without decreasing anything from the reward of the fasting person.”

May Allah accept this humble effort, reward everyone who contributed, and grant barakah to all who joined us.
