Dr. Kirk John P. Tonido is an educator, researcher, peer reviewer, Alternate Research Ethics Committee (REC) member, and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Auditor with more than nine years of experience in higher education as an instructor, researcher, research adviser, and panel member. He also has four years of experience in academic leadership, particularly in instructional supervision, program coordination, quality assurance, and research development. He earned his Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biological Sciences, Master of Arts in Education major in Teaching Science, and Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Educational Leadership. His areas of expertise include Education, Biological Sciences, Science Education, Educational Leadership, curriculum development, pedagogy, and academic research. His scholarly work includes research advising, manuscript evaluation, panel review, published research, and a completed Futures Thinking research program with three major projects, one of which served as a policy basis for a local government unit.
