Did you know that farmers can increase their goat population while maintaining genetic quality without the need to keep a male breeder on the farm?
This can be attained through artificial insemination, a method that involves collecting semen from a male breeder goat and depositing it into a doe’s reproductive tract.
This is one of the initiatives of the DOST-PCAARRD under the Industry Strategic S&T Program for Goat.
