The BIOTA Calabarzon Chapter presents a Capacity Building Webinar series entitled: Enhancing Biology Teachers' Research Competencies. This free webinar series is co-hosted by the Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc. and is open to all BIOTA-CALABARZON and PSM Inc. members.

The series will kick start on 09 May 2026 at 1:30 PM featuring the following sessions:

"Teaching SHS Capstone Research: From Compliance to Scientific Thinking" with Prof. Charina Gracia B. Banaay (UPLB)

"From Idea to Experiment: Designing Feasible Microbiology Research for High School Students" with Prof. Thomas Edison E. Dela Cruz (UST)
