My Melody and Jellycat Birthday Cake 💝🎂🎀

A lot of backlogs from a fully booked week last week!

A little story time for these two cakes:
The My Melody cake was ordered by a Singaporean lady who’s visiting Cebu for her birthday. I’m honestly surprised that people from outside Cebu have been ordering from me lately. ☺️

The Jellycat cake, on the other hand, was ordered by a regular customer who walked into the shop and got a cake for someone who didn’t want to order one for herself 😂 Thankfully, I was able to accommodate!

Grateful to make life’s sweetest moments a little sweeter. 🙏🏻💝

When I first started learning buttercream flowers, I knew absolutely nothing.

Most days were spent teaching myself through whatever tutorials I could find online, practicing over and over in hopes of improving little by little.

For a long time, I thought practice alone would eventually get me where I wanted to be. But at some point, I hit a wall. No matter how much I tried, the results still weren’t what I envisioned.

That’s when I decided to take the biggest step in my journey, learning hands-on from a professional cake artist. I had to unlearn many of the habits I taught myself and rebuild my foundation from the beginning. It was humbling, but it completely changed the way I understood buttercream flowers.

That experience is what shaped the way I teach today.

My class isn’t only about learning how to pipe specific flowers , it’s about understanding why techniques work.
From angles to pressure control, every detail is taught with intention so you can confidently create, adapt, and eventually explore flowers beyond the class on your own. 🌷
