ICYMI | The University of the Philippines Cebu celebrated its annual Iskolaro with the theme, "Dagan: Dula sa Kalisdanan, Panaghiusa sa Kadaugan," a week-long activity that gathered its four colleges in a series of competitions and sporting events.
From March 23 to 27, 2026, students filled the campus in their college colors and loudest yells, as "dagan" (to run) carried both its literal and metaphorical weight—signifying not only physical endurance in sport, but the broader community's drive toward a shared victory against bureaucratic capitalism.
The College of Science proved dominant across multiple events, emerging as this year's overall champion—besting the College of Social Sciences, followed by the School of Management, with the College of Communication, Art, and Design placing fourth.
