Business Development Officer (Client Acquisition Specialist)
Location: Cebu City (Field-Based)

👉 Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Officer to help grow our manpower recruitment agency by acquiring new clients across Cebu. The role involves actively visiting businesses, building relationships with HR/Admin personnel, and offering staffing solutions tailored to their workforce needs.

👉 Key Responsibilities:

Identify and approach potential clients within Cebu (e.g., construction firms, BPO companies, retail establishments, hotels, and SMEs)

Conduct fieldwork including client visits, cold calls, and presentations

Promote and explain the company’s manpower and recruitment services

Negotiate service agreements, rates, and terms with clients

Build and maintain long-term relationships with HR managers and business owners

Meet or exceed monthly client acquisition targets

Coordinate with the recruitment team to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements

Monitor local market trends and competitor activity

Submit weekly reports on leads, client meetings, and closed accounts

👉 Qualifications:

Graduate of any business-related course (preferred but not required)

At least 1 year experience in sales, marketing, or business development (experience in recruitment/staffing is an advantage)

Strong communication and negotiation skills (English and Cebuano/Bisaya)

Self-driven, confident, and results-oriented

Willing to do extensive fieldwork within Cebu and nearby areas (Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, Talisay, etc.)

Familiar with Cebu business areas and industrial zones

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email, messaging apps)

Client acquisition and sales closing

Relationship building and networking

Negotiation and persuasion

Time management and reporting

Problem-solving and adaptability

👉 Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: Based on experience

Commission: ₱3,000 - 5,000 for every new client with signed service agreement

Transportation Allowance: ₱2,000 - 3,000/month

Performance bonuses

👉 Work Setup:

Field-based (majority of time spent visiting clients)

Office reporting as required
