The Gimel stanza, verses 17 through 24, and the Daleth stanza, verses 25 through 32 — these are not the words of someone with an easy life.
This is someone in genuine distress, facing real opposition, struggling to keep going. And yet through it all, one thing sustains him: the Word of God.
The question is this: when you are in a hard season, where is your first instinct to turn? To your phone? To your friends?
