Project YUNIT

LOOK: Children of Asia - Project YUNIT in cooperation with EQUALS Global Partnership conducted the EY STEM App Workshop last March 9, 2024 at Cebu Business Hotel, Cebu City. COA beneficiaries, students and teachers of COA's partner schools, beneficiaries and parents of DICE Center Ermita, and interns from Mabolo National High School came together to be introduced to the newly-launched EY STEM App, an app for girls and young women to be empowered through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) topics.

Teachers from the 9 partner schools from Cebu City and Cebu Province who completed the 30 hours training from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) were awarded certificates. The training is part of the YUNIT project's INSPIRE initiative of enhancing teachers skills in distance learning and ICT.

The February 2024 Steering Committee meeting, held last February 23, 2024, focused on updates about the activities of Project YUNIT for its third year of implementation for SY 2023-2024: Budget Review, and Remaining Activities for Project YUNIT.
