A psychological short film by The Odds

Our most ambitious film to date. Collapsing Dominoes was submitted as our first official entry to Gawad Alternatibo, the longest-running independent film competition in the Philippines under the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Though we did not make it to the final screenings, the experience of being considered — of daring to take the leap — is a milestone in itself. For first-time entrants like us, the nomination alone is already a quiet, powerful success. This is just the beginning.

Synopsis:
In a post-rapture world, a religious family isolates themselves in a suffocating home ruled by their father's obsessive faith. As he imposes twisted beliefs in hopes of salvation, the family's grip on sanity begins to erode. What unfolds is a quiet implosion — a confrontation between faith and fear, obedience and survival. Sometimes, the most haunting judgment doesn’t come from above… but from within.

A two-minute horror experiment by The Odds

Originally submitted as an entry to the United Independent Filmmakers of the Philippines' 2-Minute Short Horror Film Competition held on August 14, 2022, this short stands as one of our earliest experiments in tension, silence, and suggestion.

Synopsis:
An unknown cult roams the quiet suburbs under cover of darkness, selecting homes at random. They knock. They enter. They kill. No motive, no mercy — just ritual and blood. As the camera trails their silent procession from one doorstep to the next, dread builds with every passing second. In just two minutes, home becomes a fragile illusion — and evil, an unstoppable rhythm echoing through each creaking floorboard and closing door.
