𝟐𝟎𝟗 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒕𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 .✨

The Stigmatine Congregation joyfully celebrates its 209th founding anniversary, continuing the mission that began on 𝑵𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟒, 𝟏𝟖𝟏𝟔, with our beloved founder, St. Gaspar Bertoni.

St. Gaspar once said, “𝑰 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒖𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓.” These simple yet profound words remind us that being a Stigmatine and an 𝑨𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒚 is never easy. It means embracing sacrifices and sufferings with courage and faith.

But in the midst of every trial, love overshadows everything-𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆, 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒖𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕. Every pain becomes a wound of grace, a mark that reminds us we share in Christ’s suffering and in His redeeming love.

These wounds are not signs of weakness but of belonging—𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔, bearing the stigmata of love and service, ready to go wherever Christ sends us.
