Day one was a reminder that sometimes, you just need to pause.

𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 in worship, lifting everything to God and being reminded of who He is. Through the testimonies shared, we saw how real and faithful He has been in every season.

In our Reflection Circles, we stepped into smaller spaces, Children, UMYF, UMYAF, WCS, and UMM, where people opened up, shared their stories, and allowed themselves to be real. It wasn’t perfect, but it was honest.

We laughed, moved, and connected through games, building not just teams but relationships.

As the day went on, we ended with prayer, giving everything back to God.

Then came the Open Forum, a moment that hit deeper. Conversations about our kalagayan, our struggles, and our next steps reminded us that we’re not alone in what we’re going through.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.
It was encounter, connection, and the beginning of something deeper.

"𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱; 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿."

𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 is one of life’s greatest blessings, selfless, unwavering, and unconditional. From the quiet sacrifices no one sees to the endless support and prayers they offer, mothers are the heart of every family and the foundation of every home.

Her hands may grow tired, but her care never fades. Her words bring comfort, her presence brings peace, and her faith becomes a covering over those she loves. In every late night, every silent prayer, and every act of kindness, she reflects a love that mirrors God’s own heart.

And truly, a mother’s worth is far beyond what words can express. 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲. Blessed is the one who has known a mother’s love, for it is a glimpse of grace, a touch of heaven, and a gift that lasts a lifetime.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒇 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑮𝑶𝑫 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈?

In the Old Testament, the 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 a sacred tent, was where God’s presence dwelled among His people. It was where they came to pray, to worship, and to seek Him. It wasn’t permanent, yet it carried the glory of God.

𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆.
The people of Israel lived in tents as they traveled, reminding us that this life is not our final home,we are just passing through, being led by God step by step. It is a place of separation and stillness—away from noise, where hearts become quiet and attentive to His voice.

So when we gather in this 𝗧.𝗘.𝗡.𝗧. ⛰️
𝗧𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
𝗧𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
𝗧𝗸 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵.
𝗧𝗼 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.

In a warm and welcoming coffee shop, the Dabburab UMYF gathered for a meaningful time of connection, reflection, and faith. Away from the usual setting, the youth shared heartfelt Bible talks, opened up about their personal journeys, and listened to one another with sincerity and understanding. Laughter blended with honest conversations, and quiet moments turned into opportunities to grow deeper in faith. It wasn’t just a simple hangout, it became a safe space where hearts were poured out, burdens felt lighter, and God’s presence was quietly felt in every moment.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

Baptized and Renewed!

Just like Jesus who was baptized in the River Jordan, we are reminded of God’s love and calling. 💧

The Dabburab United Methodist Church had their Renewal of Baptismal Covenant on Sunday, January 11, 2026 — a beautiful moment of commitment, faith, and grace. 🙏✨

“This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17)

Inaanyayahan namin kayong makisama sa VCS 2025: “Growing in God’s Grace” ng Dabburab United Methodist Church. Magkita-kita tayo sa limang araw na puno ng saya, pagkatuto, at pananampalataya sa Diyos mula Mayo 19-23, from 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM.

Tara na’t magsama-sama sa pagdiriwang ng biyaya at pag-asa!
