𝐔𝐏𝐇𝐒-𝐈𝐂 𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟒𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐒𝐀 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲

𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐎 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬— Student leaders from across the country are gathering at Teachers’ Camp, Baguio City as the 44th PACSA Annual National Convention and 5th International Conference unfolds from November 26–29, 2025. With thousands of delegates in attendance, the event is recognized as one of the largest and most influential assemblies of campus leaders and advisers nationwide.

This year’s theme, “𝐊𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐘 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐒𝐀,” serves as the foundation of the four-day program, highlighting five core leadership values:

𝐔 – 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡-𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬

𝐀 – 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬
𝐘 – 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭

Representing the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna – Isabela Campus, the 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐒𝐒𝐂) Officers are actively participating in the event, joining discussions, workshops, and leadership sessions aimed at strengthening student governance and community engagement.

One of the convention’s key speakers, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐲 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧, delivers an inspiring message on the true essence of leadership. He emphasizes the importance of leading with compassion, purpose, and shared responsibility, telling delegates:
“𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭. 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮—𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐮𝐬.”

Dr. Benjamin describes transformative leadership as the ability to change systems, cultures, and mindsets for the better. He challenges student leaders to look inward, reminding them that transformation begins with oneself before it can reach others.

The convention also highlights the rapidly growing role of technology in leadership. In sessions on Unleashing Tech-Driven Mindsets, speakers stress that technology becomes powerful only when guided by purpose. Delegates are encouraged to become innovators, critical thinkers, and responsible digital citizens, using technology not only for convenience but for meaningful social impact.

Meanwhile, under Learning to Collaborate for Action, participants engage in activities that explore teamwork, conflict, and identity. Speakers note that passion often collides in leadership work, but collaboration remains the key to achieving shared goals. Delegates learn that understanding differences is part of building stronger and more inclusive communities.

Throughout the event, student leaders experience a blend of learning, fellowship, and nation-building—reflecting the enduring spirit of PACSA. For the UPHS-IC SSC Officers, the convention serves as both an opportunity to grow and a reminder of their responsibility to uplift their university and local community.

As the sessions continue, the message that resonates among delegates is clear:

And as the PACSA community proudly upholds:
