𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 || Contenders of the Fruit and Vegetable Carving competition exhibited their artistic carving skills in a variety of styles during the 2024 Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) on April 28 at Samar National School Covered Court, as they vie for the ticket to represent the region in the national level of the said competition.

Fruit and Vegetable Carving is a competition that includes pupils from the elementary level from the 13 schools divisions under the Technolympics, one of the eight categories in the EV RFOT jointly by Catbalogan City Government, and DepEd, Schools Division of Catbalogan City.

Awards and recognitions for all winners and participants of the 2024 RFOT will be announced during the final day of the event celebration, April 29, 2024 at the Samar State University Gymnasium.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 || Creativity filled the Samar National School Covered Court as 13 pupil-participants in the Recycled Waste Materials competition demonstrated their craftmanships during the third day of the 2024 Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT), April 28, 2024.

With their imaginative minds, contenders generated an output out of the given recyclable plastic materials.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 || Fashion and creativity took center stage at the Samar National School (SNS) Dressmaking Laboratory 1 as the region's student-dressmakers battled for the top spot in the EV Regional Festival of Talents' (RFOT) Dressmaking contest, held on April 27.

Matching their artistic sensibilities with precision in sewing, the contenders put their mettle in display as they vie for a slot in the national level of the said competition.

Dressmaking is a competition that includes students in the secondary levels from 13 schools divisions under the Technolympics, one of the eight categories in the EV RFOT jointly hosted by Catbalogan City Government, and DepEd, Schools Division of Catbalogan City.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 || Utilizing the principles of food preservation which includes preparation and processing of meats, fish, and vegetables, seven contenders served palatable dishes to gain the top spot in the Food Processing competition during the 2024 Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT).

Held at SNS Covered Court on April 27, 2024, this competition under the Technolympics category had the competing teams undergoing time-limited actual food preparation and preservation, and interview.

This year's RFOT is jointly hosted by Catbalogan City Government and DepEd, Schools Division of Catbalogan City.

Awarding and recognitions for all winners and participants in this event will be announced during the final day of the event celebration, April 29, 2024 at the Samar State University Gymnasium.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 || Twelve (12) teams braved the Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) competition today, April 27, 2024 at the Samar National School Covered Court, for a spot at the national level of Festival of Talents.

For the competition, participants performed electrical installation and maintenance that involves deciphering and installing schematic wiring diagrams.

EIM is a competition that includes students from the secondary level under the Technolympics, one of the eight categories in the EV RFOT.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 || Of the 13 divisions competing in this year’s Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT), only nine (9) fielded contestants to the Technical Drafting competition under the category Technolympics, on April 27, 2024 at Samar National School - Computer System Servicing (CSS) Laboratory.

Using AutoCAD, a computer-aided modeling software, the participants’ structural planning and layouting prowess were tested as they were required to draft a house plan that adheres to architectural standards.
