Yesterday marks a significant event in the life of every student at Samar State University as we witness the democratic process of our Student Council Elections! The journey begins with the casting of votes, a chance for each student to make their voice heard and actively participate in shaping the future of the SSU community. With ballots cast and hopes high, the counting process, or canvassing, is carefully conducted by our dedicated election committee, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and fairness in every step.

As the votes are meticulously tallied, candidates and their supporters eagerly await the results. This year's election is a testament to the student body’s commitment to representation, leadership, and unity. Finally, with the proclamation of the new Student Council, we welcome fresh faces and renewed enthusiasm, ready to address the aspirations and concerns of the SSU community. The Commission on Elections extends its warmest congratulations to the new set of University Sudent Council officers for the Academic Year 2024-2025.

Photos below show the tally result, from the 506 tradesmen who have casted their votes on October 29, 2024 | Tuesday, via online and ballot voting, stationed at the different colleges for a flexible election.
