Back in 2003, while I was still working at a company in Ortigas, I became interested in Photoshop, with it I can manipulate images, create designs etc. I remember using my lunch break to study tutorials and read about design.

Friends asked me to create birthday tarps, invitations and other items. Soon it became brochures, fliers then logos. What started out as a hobby became a passion. I grew more with every comment, critique and feedback I get from my clients and mentors. Big breaks came in afterwards with clients in the U.S. and Australia.

As a freelancer I believe my journey started out small and it grew over the years albeit, slowly. I grew, all because of God and his providence. He guided me though the ups and downs. As my boss He gave the direction for the business and for my family.

The past two years have been a roller coaster ride, with competition growing day by day, the challenge is obvious - I need to innovate, to improve, to learn new things, to leverage on the skills of others, to give direction and start connections.

I agree on the quote I heard last Saturday, "We cannot expect future progress with past successes" I need to push forward and have the courage to move to the next level.

With this, nathszuniga DESIGN STUDIO will become ZUNAMI Creative Design Studio (ZUNAMI CDS) a full pledge company offering a wider range of creative services. In the next few weeks, we will be posting updates on this page.
