HANDBOOK NG MGA BARANGAY OFFICIALS - Pinaakabagong aklat ni Francisco C. Gomez, Jr. - para sa mga nanunungkulan o gustong manungkulan sa Barangay. Naglalaman ito ng mga paksa ukol sa pamamahala ng barangay, kwalipikasyon, tungkulin, gawain, responsibilidad at kapangyarihan ng mga pinuno o opisyales ng barangay. Vol. 1, The “Local Government Code of 1991, as Amended” establishes the policies, functions, and the general thrusts of local government units.

✅ Among the laws of the land, Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, prescribes best the role of the barangays in community development and nation-building and the ways and means to pursue this role.

✅ Barangay officials who prefer to conduct their duties and responsibilities according to the spirit and the letter of the law need only to refer to the “Local Government Code of 1991, as Amended” and the accompanying book “Laws and Issuances Related to Barangay Governance” and they will always be on the better side of barangay governance.
